334 Uzbek Citizens Successfully Evacuated from Qatar

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 7 March, the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Doha, in coordination with the Qatari government and the Uzbek Embassy in Saudi Arabia, successfully organized the evacuation of 334 Uzbek citizens, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

To return citizens to Uzbekistan, two convoys were formed from Doha heading to Riyadh. From Riyadh, the evacuees will be transported to Tashkent via special repatriation flights.

Despite the complex situation in the Middle East, the diplomatic missions ensured effective coordination with border authorities, allowing Uzbek citizens to cross the Qatar–Saudi Arabia border without obstacles.
