2 September announced as day-off in Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov signed a resolution “On shifting day-off in connection with the 25th anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan” on 26 August 2016.
Uzbek leader shifted the day-off from Sunday, 4 September 2016, to Friday, 2 September 2016. Islam Karimov announced that Sunday, 4 September, will be a working day.
The decision was adopted in connection with celebration of 25th anniversary of Independence of Uzbekistan and creation favourable conditions for rest of population, as well as rational use of working time.
