The law was passed by the Legislative Chamber on 6 March 2018 and approved by the Senate on 29 March 2018.

At present, over 157 thousand people work in this sphere in Uzbekistan.

In order to further improve the efficiency of the functioning of the sphere of public services, to stimulate conscientious work, the law announces 18 April as the Day of workers in the sphere of housing and communal services.

This will contribute to further improving the quality and efficiency of public services.
