11-Year-Old Uzbek Singer Wows Judges on Britain’s Got Talent (video)

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Eleven-year-old Uzbek singer Yasmina Khusniddinova participated in the auditions of the 19th season of the popular show Britain’s Got Talent.

Her performance was published on 24 March on the show’s official YouTube channel in the “BGT Unseen” section, a spin-off featuring full versions of performances that were not aired due to time constraints.

On stage, Yasmina introduced herself to the judges and mentioned that she had traveled to the United Kingdom with her family. For her debut, she chose “Never Enough” from the film The Greatest Showman. Her performance elicited a strong reaction from the audience and judges, who praised her extraordinary vocal technique.

“The power and control over your voice were absolutely out of this world. Congratulations!” said judge Amanda Holden. Alesha Dixon highlighted Yasmina’s skillful balance of soft and powerful moments:

“At first it was so delicate, and then you began to project beautifully. By the end of the song, you were just flying.”

Other judges, including KSI, also expressed admiration for her ability to sustain challenging high notes. Yasmina received four “yes” votes, securing her advancement in the competition.

The Embassy of Uzbekistan in London noted that Yasmina is the first contestant from Uzbekistan to perform on Britain’s Got Talent and encouraged compatriots to support her.

This is not Yasmina’s first stage success. In 2024, she placed third in the finale of the first season of Ovoz Bolalar, the Uzbek version of The Voice Kids, performing under mentor DJ Pilgrim. In 2025, she won the Grand Prix at the Sanremo Junior International Competition in Italy.

Yasmina continues to compete for the grand prize of the British show, which is watched by millions of viewers worldwide.
