Specialists of the Tretyakov Gallery carried out work on the restoration of three works by Wassily Kandinsky

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- From 15 February to 1 March 2023, with the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan, specialists from the Tretyakov Gallery carried out work on the restoration of three works by Wassily Kandinsky.

Restorers of the highest category Elena Churakova and Inna Solovova from the State Tretyakov Gallery carried out work on the restoration of three works by Wassily Kandinsky.

According to the plan of restoration measures, specialists from the Tretyakov Gallery and the State Museum of Art got acquainted with the state of Kandinsky’s paintings from the collection of the State Museum of Art of Uzbekistan and began work on the following works:

1. Wassily Kandinsky (b.1920) "Composition"

2. Wassily Kandinsky (b.1920) "Composition"

3. Wassily Kandinsky (b.1920) "Composition"

The restoration was carried out in accordance with international standards and completed on time. Now the paintings of Wassily Kandinsky can be seen in the permanent exhibition of the State Museum of Arts of Uzbekistan.
