A meeting with representatives of the Franklin Templeton takes place at the Central Bank

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting was held at the Central Bank of the Republic of Uzbekistan with the leadership of the Singapore regional office of Franklin Templeton, the press service of the Central Bank said in a statement.

The representatives of Franklin Templeton were provided with information about the banking system and macroeconomic conditions in the country. 

During the meeting, issues were discussed regarding the role of the Central Bank in the development of the capital market and privatization processes in the country, especially in the privatization of state-owned banks.

At the same time, the company shared its successful projects and privatization experience in foreign countries, and also offered its services in entering international financial markets and attracting foreign investors.

Franklin Templeton is a global investment company founded in New York in 1947, the main activity of which is focused on capital and asset management. The total value of assets under management of the company is over US$1.4 trillion and more than 100 offices operate in 30 countries.
