Farhod Arziev: "One of the priorities of Uzbekistan’s international cooperation is the development of close partner and friendly relations with Russia"
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- One of the priorities of Uzbekistan’s international cooperation is the development of close partner and friendly relations with Russia. This opinion was expressed by the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Farhod Arziev at the opening of the conference "Russia and Uzbekistan facing the challenges of development and security at a new historical stage of interaction", organized in the capital by ISMI and the Valdai club.
Thanks to the established trusting dialogue, personal contacts between the presidents of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Russia Vladimir Putin, relations between the two countries are progressively developing and deepening both in bilateral and multilateral formats.
“It is safe to say that the strategic partnership between our countries, tested by time and common challenges, will continue to strengthen and develop, opening new horizons in the period of new decades of partnership,” said Farkhod Arziev.
A solid foundation of bilateral Uzbek-Russian relations is a common interest in providing all the necessary conditions for the prosperity of the friendly peoples of our countries, their achievement of new successes in social, economic, scientific and cultural development.
