The President speaks with young programmers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the Public Services Center of the city of Bukhara and the local branch of the IT Park.
More than 130 types of public services are provided in the center on the principle of "one stop shop". The building also houses the regional administration of the Public Services Agency, the People’s Reception, the Reception for considering appeals from entrepreneurs, the registry office, and a notary office. There is a book corner in the waiting room.
The head of state gave instructions on reducing the cost of providing public services, organizing mobile and remote services for the population of remote areas.
There is also a clinic for the rehabilitation and privatization of enterprises, which provides financial and legal advice, information services.
The Bukhara branch of the IT-park is located on the second floor of the building. The necessary conditions have been created here for both students and freelancers and programmers. School-age children are involved in the field of information technology through games, then they are taught and trained to develop projects. Young robotics, web designers and professional programmers have gathered here.
Having highly appreciated the potential of Bukhara youth, the President stressed the importance of the IT sphere for the development of our country.
- Bukhara has long been the center of science. And today there are a lot of educated, purposeful youth. It is necessary to create a Bukhara brand in the IT field. There is everything for this - conditions, resources, intelligence, - said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The head of state spoke with Saidravshan Shokirov, 25-year-old founder of Monday LABS, Shakhrullo Tuksanov, a programmer working in cooperation with international IT companies, and other young people.
Instructions were given on providing young programmers with orders on social and economic issues, creating software products that save money, energy and time.

A modern building for the IT-park is being built in the Bukhara City complex. The complex will consist of buildings of 9 and 12 floors, and include a hotel, restaurant, coworking center, offices and gyms. More than 700 jobs will be created.
