The Supervisory Board of Uzmetkombinat appoints a new management

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 20 January 2021, a meeting of the Supervisory Board of Uzmetkombinat was held, as well as an expanded meeting of heads of departments, workshops, departments and divisions of the Uzbek Metallurgical Combine Joint Stock Company (Uzmetkombinat).

The events were attended by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan A. Aripov.

In accordance with the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.Mirziyoyev for the intensive and high-tech development of the plant based on the implementation of large investment projects, the activities of its management were critically examined.

In this regard, organizational issues were considered. The Supervisory Board of Uzmetkombinat made a decision to appoint Rashid Pirmatov as Chairman of the Board of the Joint Stock Company.

R. Pirmatov, a native of Bekabad district of Tashkent region. In 1986 he graduated from the Moscow State Institute of Steel and Alloys with a degree in metallurgical engineering. Upon returning to Bekabad, he worked as a foreman, engineer, deputy head of the electric steel-making shop, deputy head of the technological center "Uzmetkombinat".

All work activity of R. Pirmatov is closely connected with the plant. A professional in his field, he deeply knows the production process, participates in programs for the modernization of the enterprise and the expansion of the range of products.

R. Pirmatov is a candidate of technical sciences, the topic of his scientific interests is also the development of the metallurgical industry. For high production and technical achievements at the plant, a great contribution to increasing the economic potential of the country, in 2014 he was awarded the title of "Honored Worker of Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan".
