UzLiDeP to nominate Shavkat Mirziyayev to post of President

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan will nominate the candidacy of Shavkat Mirziyayev to the post of the President of Uzbekistan, the Central Election Commission said on its Facebook page.

According to CEC, the Political Council of UzLiDeP adopted decision to nominate Shavkat Mirziyayev to the post of the President of Uzbekistan.

Presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on 4 December 2016. Currently, Shavkat Mirziyayev is Interim President of Uzbekistan.
