Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Pedestrians in Uzbekistan cannot use mobile phone or listen radio or audio products while walking on roadway, including pedestrian crossing, from 1 March 2016.
The new version of traffic rules approved by the Cabinet of Ministers will enter into force on March 1, 2016 in Uzbekistan. The new version of the rules has been introduced with 15 amendments. In addition, there are a number of changes. Some terms and concepts have been clarified.
According to new rules, pedestrians prohibited to use the phone, watch TV - video products, listen to the radio and audio, read books or periodicals, as well as the use of other distracting electronic means, when walking on the roadway, including at a pedestrian crossing.
