Uzbekistan takes 27th place in World Giving Index

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan took the 27th place in World Giving Index, which was published by Charities Aid Foundation on Wednesday, 11 November.
The World Giving Index (WGI) was compiled by the Charities Aid Foundation, using data gathered by Gallup, and ranks 145 countries in the world according to how charitable their populations are.
Uzbekistan moved from28th place in 2014 to 27th place in 2015 in the World Giving Index (WGI
Uzbekistan took the seventh place on number of people engaged in charity (43% people), the 38th place – on helping stranger and 62nd place on donations to charity organizations.
Myanmar topped the index. The Unites States and New Zealand were second and third respectively. Canada and Australia were fourth and fifth the ranking respectively. Burundi took the 145th place.
