Uzbekistan-Japan Center for human development to continue work till 2020

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan-Japan Center for human development will continue its work till 30 November 2020.
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) and Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Invetsment and Trade signed a protocol of discussions on project of technical cooperation “Development of potential of business people and establish relations on the base of the Uzbekistan-Japan Center for human development” on 7 August 2015.
In line with the document, the UJC will continue its work in Uzbekistan till 30 November 2020. The sides also agreed that the MFERIT will be responsible body for implementation of the project in cooperation with the JICA.
Uzbekistan-Japan Center for human development was established in line with the inter-governmental agreement between Uzbekistan and Japan, reached in October 2000. The JICA and MFERIT are founders of the center.
The aim of the center is training for business development in Uzbekistan, as well as the deepening of mutual understanding and the development of friendly relations between Uzbekistan and Japan by communicating various information, culture and language of Japan to the people of Uzbekistan with an interest in this country.
