Prime Minister of India to visit Uzbekistan in July

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi will pay a visit to Uzbekistan in July 2015, the Indian mass media reported.
According to The Indian Express, Narendra Modi will visit to Uzbekistan and participate in the opening ceremony of the employment center. The date of the visit was not disclosed. However, according to media reports, Modi will visit Kazakhstan on 7 July and Turkmenistan on 11 July.
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) is an initiator of the launch of the center in Uzbekistan.
EDI had submitted a proposal for Uzbekistan centres to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2004. The ministry considered the proposal.
This will be the first center of EDI in Central Asia. Similar centers are successfully are working in Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar.
The new centres will conduct grassroots entrepreneurship programmes such as cluster development, new enterprise creation, identification of business opportunities, HR motivational inputs, finance, marketing, technology, business planning, performance improvement and communication.
The first center will be launched in Tashkent. In future, it is planned to open similar centers in Samarkand, Ferghana and Syrdarya regions of Uzbekistan.
