Uzbekistan implements project “Secure city”

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekistan implements a project “Secure city”, within which modern integrated security systems will be installed across Uzbekistan, head of Republican Union Ohrana under Ministry of Interior Affairs of Uzbekistan Tohritdin Nadjimov said.
Automated system of centralized surveillance and systems of transfer of alerts to technical protection points and reaction divisions of Ohrana are created in line with the presidential resolution “On measures on further development of national information-communication systems in Uzbekistan” from June 2013.
He said that in line with the document Ohrana should introduce modern security systems for each protect object in any part of Uzbekistan and develop system of e-document flow.
He noted that Ohrana is cooperating with Uzbektelecom and State Committee of Uzbekistan on communication, information and telecommunication technologies within implementation of the project.
Head of Ohrana said that the project will be implemented in three projects. Pilot project will be completed in the first quarter of 2015 in several regions – Tashkent city and Tashkent region, Syrdarya region, Samarkand region and Jizzkah region. It is planned to complete the project by the end of 2016 and cover all regions.
Tohritdin Nadjimov added that introduction of modern integrated system will help to expand number of services, offered to clients. For example, Ohrana will be able to provide service on protecting many-storeyed houses, ATMs, vehicles, etc. The organization will be also provide video surveillance services with use of GSM channels.
He said that Ohrana will be able provide services on protection of life and health of people and secure objects. He said special trackers will be used to protect people.
