Ambassadors present credentials to President of Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the Oqsaroy on 7 January, President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov received credentials from the newly appointed Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of several countries – Gadu Abulfath Ali al-Ghannam of Egypt, Pham Van Phao of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vikram Kumar Doraiswami of India and Anak Agung Gde Alit Santhika of Indonesia, the press service of the President of Uzbekistan said.
Uzbek President cordially congratulated them on the appointment and wished success in their responsible and honourable mission.
President Islam Karimov said that Uzbekistan pays important attention to developing relations with Egypt, Vietnam, India and Indonesia, which play key role in solving actual international and regional issues.
At the meeting, the sides also exchanged opinion on international and regional issues of mutual interest.
