UzLiDeP prepares to upcoming parliamentary elections

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Samarkand regional Council of Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan organized a conference titled “Democratization of the state power and administration” at the Samarkand Agriculture Institute.

Representatives of the party, MPs, teachers and students of the Institute and others participated in the conference, the press service of UzLiDeP said.

At t he event, the participants considered upcoming parliamentary elections, democratic reforms in the country, election legislation, etc.

During the event, the participants discussed recent changes to the election legislation and Constitution of Uzbekistan, which strengthened role of the Central Election Commission and ensured its independence.

The conference also discussed role of the UzLiDeP in reforms in the country and attraction of youth to formation of political system of state and public administration, as well as preventing violations during the election period.
