Angren Quvur Zavodi soon to reach its design capacity

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Angren Quvur Zavodi will soon reach its full capacity, local state-run newspaper Pravda Vostoka said in its report.
Angren Quvur Zavodi produces copper pipes of various thickness and diameters and products is used in various sectors of economy, including in production of electronic, laying water, heating and sewage system, etc.
It is worth to mention that the enterprise is part of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK), which mines and processes ores, and produced copper cathode. The copper cathode delivered to Angren Quvur Zavodi to production of pipelines. The production is fully localized.
The enterprise will export 90% of its products. The company signed contracts with companies from Switzerland, China, Turkey and other countries. If there are demand for copper pipes, the enterprises will increase supplies into internal market.
In January 2014, director-general of Almalyk Mining and Metallurgy Combine (AGMK) Aleksander Farmanov said that the combine completed construction of a plant on production of copper pipes in the territory of Angren special industrial zone.
The project cost was US$35.48 million. The project was financed due to own resources of AGMK for US$10.28 million and loans of Ipoteka Bank for US$12.27 million in foreign currency and US$12.93 million in national currency.
Within the project, Jiangsu Xingrong High Tech Co., Ltd (China) supplied and installed technologic equipment for US$9.67 million.
TOSHELECTROAPPARAT produced and supplied electrotechnical equipment and conducted installation works worth US$3.79 million.
The UAE-based SAM Building Contracting LLC supplied metallic and wall construction of production building and equipment for them, as well as installation works for US$5.57 million.
