Six new ventures launched in Kashkadarya region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Six new joint ventures have been created in Kashkadarya in past period of 2013 and they were created with participation of businesses from Great Britain, China, Russia and South Korea, Pravda Vostoka newspaper reported.
All enterprises were created in rural areas. An Uzbek-Russian joint venture was created in Kushtepa village of Shahrisabz region in cooperation with local and Tashkent businesses, as well as Nogin fuel equipment plant.
An Uzbek-Russian venture has been founded in Shanba village, which repairs hydro pumps.
Entrepreneur from China launched an enterprise on production of construction materials in Guzar district. Soon the venture will launch production of breaks and tiles.
The enterprise with the South Korean businesses was created in Muglon village of Kasbi district. It will produce hosiery products.
Two new enterprises with British capital were created in Kashkadarya region. One of the enterprises was founded in Charogil villageof Karshi district and it processes milk and produces dairy goods.
The second enterprise with 100% British capital was founded in Mubarek district. It specializes on repair and maintenance of oil and gas equipment, including engines of compressors.
As of 1 October 2013, number of enterprises with foreign capital makes up 59 and they were created with participation of 20 companies from Europe, Asia, Africa and America. In nine months 2013, they produced goods and services for 1.188 trillion soums.
