Uzbekenergo launches new service for legal entities

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Legal entities now can enter payments for electricity of their employees through their personal cabinets at the website of Uzbekenergo state joint stock company.
UzA reported that the data will be entered to the system with help of digital signature, which will have save time and transport expenses. The new service was available due to introduction of new module of the software on electricity accounting – Elektrouchet.
For last two years, Uzbekenergo implements several IT projects. In particular, it launched new software complex. It’s launch helped to launch several services. In particular, the consumers can pay for the electricity in online regime, send electronic appeals, call for representatives of Uzbekenergo to carry out repair works, etc.
The system helps to ensure detailed and transparent accounting of consumed electricity and improve process of gathering information on its use. The system allowed consumers to pay for electricity through payment systems of commercial banks, Uzbekiston Pochtasi, Paynet and SMS To’lov.
The system also provides information on consumers through personal cabinet and SMS messages. In particular, the consumers can control current balance, payment history, etc. The consumers also have opportunity to call specialists of Uzbekenergo or sent request to replace electricity meter.
Uzbekenergo is working on improving the system to provide new services for legal entities, small and private businesses.
For example, the legal entities should submit a report on electricity consumption and one of employees should visit one of Uzbekenergo offices and waste time to submit report. Soon, Uzbekenergo plans to launch new system, which will help businesses to submit reports in electronic form.
Uzbekenergo also launched a software complex “Transformers and technical conditions”, which will allow legal entities to connect their equipment to electricity.
