CCI, GIZ implement programme on Kaizen introduction

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan in cooperation with the GIZ project “Assiting to regional economic cooperation in Central Asia” is implementing a programme on introducing and developing modern methods of production management Kaizen in Uzbekistan.
The programme is aimed at raising competiveness of producers of Uzbekistan in internal and external markets due to improving quality of production, labour efficiency and effective organization of production, decreasing prime cost at minimal expenses.
The programme is increasing knowledge of businesses in effective management of business processes and Kaizen system.
The Kaizen system envisages at decreasing prime cost via decreasing loss of time, money, materials and efforts and increase quality of products and services.
Within the implementation of the programme, over 120 representatives of 100 industrial firms participated at the seminars. Some 13 enterprises of Uzbekistan, including Deutsche Kabel AG Tashkent, Green World, UZTEX-Tashkent, Keng Makon, introduced the Kaizen in their production process.
In 2013-2014, it is planned to hold information seminar on Kaizan in all regions of Uzbekistan and introduce the system at 3-4 small and medium enterprises of Uzbekistan, mainly in agriculture goods processing.
Pilot projects includes training of personal of the enterprises in Kaizen, developing and recommending business optimization, introducing Kaizen tools, etc. The introduction works will be conducted mainly due to resources of GIZ and Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan.
