Uzbekneftegaz to complete projects for US$356.3m in 2013

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Uzbekneftegaz national holding company is planning to implement projects for total sum of US$356.3 million by the end of 2013, Oilru.com reported quoting source in the Government of Uzbekistan.
The source said that the Government approved schedule of implementation of six projects, which were included to the state investment programme for 2013.
In particular, the company plans to complete construction of booster station at Gazli field and organize production of basic oils in Tashkent city, as well as launch production of heating equipment at Navoi free industrial and economic zone, project on utilization of associated gases in Kashkadarya region, as well as purchase equipment to maintain gas pipelines.
Uzbekneftegaz can mine about 70 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 8 million tonnes of liquid hydrocarbons a year. In 2013, the company planned to increase investments volume by 5.4% year-on-year to US$2.515 billion in 2012.
