CIS symphonic orchestra to perform in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Youth symphonic orchestra of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) led by famous Russian director Vladimir Spivakov will give a concert in Tashkent’s Turkiston Palace on 5 October 2011.
The concert will be final stage of orchestra’s tour. The orchestra will also visit Belarus and China. The orchestra will perform classic musics.
The concert is organized by Fund Forum, Inter-state fund for humanitarian cooperation of the CIS and Moscow State Academic Philharmonic Society.
Youth symphonic orchestra of the CIS includes 95 musicians, including nine from Uzbekistan. Nadir Hashimov, winner of national and international competitions, is also member of the orchestra.
