Zamona Rano supplies medical-herbal products to Russia

Zamona Rano has been founded in 2006 and now it is one of the leading producer of herbal medicines, herba; teas and beauty phyto products in Uzbekistan. The goal of the company is to develop phyto therapy and preserve tradition of treating diseases with herbals.

Production capacities of the enterprise are located in Namdanak village of Parkent district of Tashkent region. The territory of production complex consists of 19 hectares of land and 101 hectares of sown areas, where herbals are planted.

Products of Zamona Rano are 100% natural, which is confirmed with the certificate of organic products from the Swiss certification company IMO. The certificate confirms that the company’s products are ecologically clean, which means that during the cultivation pesticides were not used and products do not contain genetically modified ingredients, artificial preservatives, dyes and flavours.

The control of quality at Zamona Rano is conducted at all stages of production – from supply of raw materials to plant, at the production process and before supply to consumers.

Executive director of Zamona Rano Gulnara Rikhsiyeva said that the company uses 90% of local raw materials and imports other 10%. She said that the company imports only those herbals, which are not growing in Uzbekistan, and filter-paper for tea bags.

She said that the capacities of the plant grew 5-6 times compared to 2006 and now it produces 15,000 packages a day.

The enterprise increased production from 2 million packages in 2012 o 2.5 million packages in 2013 (+8%). In 2014, the company plans to increase production by 39% - to 3.5 million units. The growth will be achieved due to increase of the exports volume.

Gulnara Rikhsiyeva underlined that Zamona Rano is planning to expand production capacities in next three years and already started construction works. The company also has plans to increase assortment of produced goods.

She added that the company exports its products to Armenia (Alfafarm with 120 drug stores), Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine (Medservis with 346 drug stores) and Mongolia. From this year, Zamona Rano started supplies of its products to Russia, Rikhsiyeva noted. She said that about 30% of products of the company go to exports.

She stated that consumers in Russia and Ukraine are satisfied with the products.
