Yevgeniy Nastradin to Lead Beeline Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — VEON Ltd. announced upcoming leadership changes aimed at strengthening its management team and supporting further growth both at headquarters and across key markets.

Under the new structure, Yevgeniy Nastradin will take over as head of Beeline Uzbekistan following completion of corporate procedures, while remaining a member of the group’s executive management. Since 2019, he has led Beeline Kazakhstan, where he ensured steady business growth, improving operational efficiency and expanding digital services, including financial platforms, entertainment offerings, and AI-driven solutions.

Nastradin said he views the appointment as an opportunity to further develop the company in one of the region’s most dynamic digital markets. His priorities will include network modernization, enhancing customer experience, and expanding digital infrastructure.

Andrey Pyatakhin, who has headed Beeline Uzbekistan since October 2024, will continue with the company as chief operating officer. With nearly 25 years at VEON, he has held senior roles in multiple countries, including Georgia, Armenia, and Kyrgyzstan. He noted that his transition will allow him to focus on improving operational efficiency and scaling the business, while the new CEO concentrates on expanding the company’s market presence in Uzbekistan.

At the same time, Jabbor Kayumov has been appointed CEO of Beeline Kazakhstan. He brings nearly two decades of experience in the telecommunications industry, having previously held senior roles at VEON, Telia, Digicel, and Axiata Group.

Changes will also take place at VEON headquarters, where Ahmet Kayhan will assume the role of Chief Payments and Digital Assets Officer. The company said his appointment reflects a strategic focus on accelerating the development of financial services and digital asset-related areas. Kayhan has more than 20 years of experience in building digital ecosystems and fintech solutions, including leadership roles at DgPays and board membership at UAE-based payment provider NEOPAY.

VEON Group CEO Kaan Terzioglu said the leadership reshuffle aligns with the company’s strategy to expand digital services and innovation as key growth drivers. Strengthening the team with internationally experienced executives is expected to accelerate implementation of these priorities.

All appointments are expected to take effect from 1 April 2026, subject to the necessary corporate and regulatory approvals.
