Yandex Uzbekistan Expands Support for Creators and Media on Telegram
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Yandex Uzbekistan has announced an expansion of its support for creators, bloggers, and media outlets developing channels on the Telegram messenger.
As part of the initiative, Yandex Ads experts help creators grow their audiences, develop content, and monetize it without the need to independently search for advertisers.
The Yandex Advertising Network (YAN) brings together more than 18,000 Telegram channels across various countries, with a combined audience exceeding 320 million subscribers.
Since the launch of monetization via Yandex Ads in 2023, YAN partners have earned more than US$57 million from advertising placements.
In 2025 alone, business investment in Telegram promotion through Yandex Ads doubled, reflecting growing advertiser interest in the platform as a communication channel.
Monetization tools enable bloggers, creators, and media outlets to start earning from their own content and gradually increase their income.
An expanded support team in Uzbekistan ensures faster onboarding to the service, assists with the integration of advertising formats into channels, and simplifies the process of receiving payments for publications.
“Telegram is one of the key platforms where users consume news as well as educational and entertainment content. Both emerging and professional creators and media can find their audience here. Yandex Ads, in turn, helps even small channels with audiences starting from 1,500 subscribers begin monetizing their content. We see strong interest from creators: many use this passive income to further develop their channels,” said Madina Seisengalieva, Head of Yandex Ads in Central Asia.
Through integration with the Yandex Advertising Network, Telegram channels gain access to more than 600,000 advertisers from different countries promoting goods and services via Yandex Direct. In Uzbekistan, companies from the tourism, finance, home appliances and electronics sectors, as well as fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), are the most active in promoting their products through Telegram.
Both large and emerging Telegram channels can join YAN monetization.
The system automatically selects and places brand advertising posts that match the channel’s theme and audience, while administrators retain control over placement settings, including limiting ad categories, setting publication frequency and timing, and defining a minimum cost per thousand impressions.
