World Bank: Uzbekistan ‘s GDP to grow by 5.3% in 2019

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - Uzbekistan’s economy will grow by 5.3% in 2019. This is stated in the report “World Economic Outlook: Rising Tensions, Downturn in Investments”.

The bank’s experts in January 2019 predicted that gross domestic product (GDP) will grow by 5.1%.

At the same time, the World Bank maintained its forecast for GDP growth in Uzbekistan in 2020 at the level of 5.5%. In 2021, the economy of Uzbekistan will grow by 6%.
