Workshops of the Luban Brand to Open in Uzbekistan’s Vocational Colleges

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — An Uzbek delegation led by Hilola Umarova, Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration, is currently on a visit to Beijing.

During the visit, Hilola Umarova held a series of meetings with China’s Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, representatives of the Ministry of Education of the PRC, the China Education Association for International Exchange, Shenyang Normal University, Peking University, and the management of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank.

The discussions focused on joint educational initiatives and the identification of key priorities for future cooperation.

Special attention was given to academic exchange programs, the establishment of practice-oriented centers within the vocational education system, grant initiatives, and the opening of Luban workshops in Uzbekistan’s vocational colleges.

Additionally, the sides reached an agreement to expand joint higher-education programs and to hold an annual Uzbekistan Day in China.
