Working retired teachers to receive full pensions

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Starting from 2019, working retired teachers of Uzbekistan will receive full pensions.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed a decree “On additional measures to improve the system of public education management” on 5 September 2018.

The document stated that from 1 January 2019, pensioners - employees of general educational institutions – will receive their full pensions.

The decree said that retired teachers will receive a full pension if their activities in schools are the main place of work.
