Women Trained in Tourism Skills in Bostanlyk District

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 24 to 26 September, a training seminar was held in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region with the participation of the Committee for Tourism.

The main goal of the seminar is to support the economic reintegration of women returning from abroad and their effective involvement in the country’s tourism sector.

The program provides participants with practical skills necessary for a successful start in the tourism industry. Women are introduced to the operations of major tourist sites and family guesthouses in Bostanlyk, participate in masterclasses, hands-on sessions, and experience-sharing activities.

Organizers emphasize that such initiatives contribute not only to creating new employment opportunities for women but also to developing domestic tourism in the regions.

A representative of the Committee for Tourism noted: “Training focused on women returning from migration is an important element of state policy for their social and economic support. The rapidly growing tourism sector in our country offers them a wide range of opportunities.”

The seminar in Bostanlyk is part of comprehensive measures aimed at enhancing the role of women in the economy and fostering entrepreneurial initiatives in the hospitality sector.
