Woman arrested at attempt to sell infant
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Law enforcement bodies of Uzbekistan prevented attempt to sell an infant in Kashkadarya region, the press service of the Prosecutor-General’s office said.
During operative measures, the gynaecologist of private clinic YOQUT SHIFO DAVO M. Ruziyeva was arrested at attempt to sell a baby for US$1,000.
The prosecutors of the region opened a criminal case and M. Ruziyeva was arrested in line with the decision of the court.
The investigation is underway on the case.
