WIUT delegation visits Urgench

One of the main purposes of the visit was to award certificates to the first graduates of English language courses of the WIUT Learning Center located in Urgench.

The center was opened in March 2013 in collaboration with the Academic Lyceum № 1 under the Urgench State University to create more opportunities for young people of Khorezm in effectively learning English language.

During the visit representatives of WIUT organized the first Math entrance exam in Urgench and conducted training sessions for English teachers of lyceum/colleges of the city. They also made a big presentation gathering many students from all parts of Khorezm region.

They talked about recent developments of the university as the recent major university campus renovation, new master’s programme in Commercial Law and most importantly new simplified procedure of registration for WIUT Math entrance exam. Now applicants can register online via the website of the university, which is of high convenience for those living outside Tashkent.
