Wildberries Reports Growth in Uzbekistan: Domestic Sales Up, Exports More Than Double
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Wildberries summarized its operations in Uzbekistan for 2025, reporting growth in domestic demand, increased exports, and expanded services for entrepreneurs.
According to the company, from 1 January to 15 December 2025, turnover on the domestic market rose 22% year-on-year, while the number of goods sold increased by 15%.
The strongest growth was seen in smartphones and gadgets, with purchases increasing more than sixteenfold. Jewelry sales grew seven times, workwear and personal protective equipment quadrupled, auto electronics quadrupled as well, and demand for footwear doubled. Among popular categories, consumers frequently purchased creams, serums, cosmetic sets, books and calendars, t-shirts, dresses, and pajamas. Ahead of the holidays, demand surged for Christmas decorations, garlands, gift wrapping, as well as candies and gift sets.
Export activity by Uzbek sellers continued to strengthen. External turnover increased by 131%, and the number of goods sold nearly doubled.
Russia remained the main market, with sales up 92% in volume and 125% in revenue. Belarus recorded growth of 104% in units and 137% in turnover.
Armenia emerged as one of the most dynamic markets, with the number of items sold increasing more than fivefold and turnover nearly sixfold. Growth was also noted in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
The leading export category was “Beauty,” where demand more than tripled. High growth rates were also observed for books and CDs, sportswear, home textiles, household appliances, and chemicals. On certain markets, growth was exponential: in Armenia, sales of “Beauty” products increased nearly 98 times, in Belarus book sales grew over 200 times, and in Russia almost 40 times.
Wildberries introduced new tools for sellers in Uzbekistan in 2025, including the Showcase (DBS) and Express Showcase (EDBS) sales models, the Click&Collect service, and the analytical project “Jam.”
The WB Club was launched, order pick-up points were upgraded, and a sorting center in Tashkent began operations. Courier delivery, “Leave at Door,” post-payment, and WB Taxi with a mobile app were implemented. Entrepreneurs also received guidance on cybersecurity and data protection.
Wildberries emphasizes that growing demand for Uzbek products abroad, coupled with the development of domestic infrastructure, creates new opportunities for local businesses and stimulates the growth of e-commerce in the country.
