According to him, the office of the law firm will be opened in January 2018 and will begin work on a number of key areas, including updating the legal framework between Uzbekistan and the United States.
Sadyk Safayev noted that the Ministry of Justice of Uzbekistan and White & Case signed two documents.
Within the framework of one of the documents, the parties will work to improve the legal framework, and under the second agreement, the parties will prepare lawyers on commercial law.
"From the Uzbek side, it was proposed to address in detail the issues of improving the Uzbek-American bilateral legal framework," the Senator noted.
Sadyk Safayev added that the parties will work on issues of investment protection, avoidance of double taxation, development of institutional ties between Uzbekistan and the United States.
