Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In January-June 2021, the gross value added (GVA) in industry in Tashkent region made up 16.64 trillion soums and, compared to the same period of last year, increased by 9.6%. 

In the period under review, the share of this sector in GRP amounted to 48.6% and, compared to January-June 2020, increased by 0.8 percentage points, and compared to the corresponding period of 2017 by 16.8 percentage points.
