Weightlifters of Uzbekistan to receive money prizes

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev awarded a one-time cash rewards to four members of the Uzbekistan national weightlifting team.

According to the document, athletes were awarded “for a successful performance at the World Weightlifting Championship, held from 28 November to 6 December 2017 in Anaheim (USA)”.

Doston Yokubov, who became world champion in the weight category of 69 kg, will receive a cash award of US$12,000.

Silver medalists of the world championship Farkhodbek Sobirov (weight category of 94 kg) and Ivan Efremov (105 kg) will receive US$6,000 each.

The bronze medalist of the World Championship in the weight category 62 kg Adhamjon Ergashev was awarded a cash reward of US$3,000.
