Volume of market services reaches 22.585 trln soums in 9 months of 2010

Total volume of market services by all kinds of economic activity in Uzbekistan made up 22.585 trillion soums in January-September 2010, the State Statistics Committee of the country said.
The volume of market services in rural areas reached 5.555 trillion soums, or 24.6% of the total volume of rendered services.
The committee said that in comparison with January-September 2009, the real growth of market services made up 11.2%.
The high growth rates were achieved in the following services: repair of cars and other equipment – 27.8% , financial, including microcredit granting – 22.6%, personal – 21.2%, internal trade and catering – 14.8%.
The following services prevailed in the structure of services: transport (31.5% of total services), trade and catering (18.1%), communal (12.1%), financial, including microcredit granting (8.5%), communication and information, including services of information and resource centers (6.5%).
