Volume of harmful emissions into the atmosphere to reduce by 75 percent in April

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to specialists from the Tashkent City Department of Ecology and Environmental Protection, if the restriction on the movement of cars continues in April, it is expected that by the end of April the amount of harmful gases emitted into the atmosphere will decrease by 32.5 thousand tons.

At the beginning of this year, 460,441 vehicles were registered in Tashkent, 396,012 of which were in the private sector. These vehicles emit an average of 400 thousand tons of harmful substances into the atmosphere, thereby poisoning it.

If we assume that due to the quarantine (restrictive measures) introduced on April 1, about 100 thousand cars will move on the city streets and the remaining approximately 300 thousand cars will temporarily stop moving, only in April the amount of harmful substances released into the atmosphere will be reduced by 75 percent.

Given the above, do not worry if you are not given special permission by the Center for Public Services. Perhaps we should give nature a chance to breathe freely.
