Vocational Training Center to Be Established in Ferghana to Prepare Specialists for the German Labor Market

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new training center for the preparation of qualified specialists for employment in Germany will be established in Ferghana. This initiative was announced following a meeting between the Governor of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, and Max Reumschüssel, head of the German company Simson Private Akademie.

During the talks, the parties discussed moving to the practical phase of agreements reached during the Ferghana regional delegation’s working visit to Germany in early July this year.

Particular attention was given to the sustainable development of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Germany, as well as the intensification of interregional cooperation. Promising initiatives were reviewed in the fields of labor migration and the training of specialists in high demand on the international market.

Both sides emphasized that mutual visits and the signing of memorandums of understanding have contributed to the deepening of cooperation and the transition to concrete joint projects. In this context, the meeting addressed a pilot project to establish a professional training center in Ferghana Region, operating according to the German model. Training will be based on Simson Private Akademie’s curriculum, with a focus on fields such as metalworking, electromechanics, and other technical specialties.

The project includes the issuance of the internationally recognized ISO 9606 certificate, which verifies the qualifications of specialists, and the subsequent employment of graduates at companies in Germany.

The regional governor expressed full support for the initiative, stressing that the creation of an effective vocational training system and the development of language skills, including German-language instruction, will yield practical benefits and improve the quality of migration cooperation.

Before the official opening of the center at Ferghana State University, German language courses for youth will be launched. At the conclusion of the meeting, concrete steps were outlined for the phased implementation of the project.
