Vladimir Solovyov Raises Possibility of Expanding Russia’s “Special Military Operation” to Central Asian Countries

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Russian TV host Vladimir Solovyov stated on his program that the potential loss of Armenia could pose a serious problem for Moscow and suggested considering the expansion of Russia’s “Special Military Operation” (SMO) to Central Asian countries.

He emphasized that, in the interest of national security, international law and the existing global order should be disregarded.

According to Solovyov, Russia’s priority should remain Armenia and the countries of Central Asia, rather than conflicts in Syria or Venezuela.

He remarked: “The loss of Armenia — that’s a huge problem. Problems in our Asia, in Central Asia… that could be a gigantic problem for us. We must clearly define our goals and objectives. We must explain: the games are over. International law, international order — we don’t care. If, for the sake of our national security, it was necessary to launch the SMO in Ukraine, why, based on the same considerations, couldn’t we launch the SMO in other parts of our sphere of influence?”

Vladimir Solovyov is known for his sharp and aggressive rhetoric, frequently making offensive and incendiary statements on air.

His programs are regularly criticized for spreading false information and manipulating public opinion, and in several post-Soviet countries, his broadcasts have been condemned or banned.
