Visa and Reinvantage to Host Grand Finale of the International “She’s Next” Hackathon for Women Entrepreneurs

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Global digital payments leader Visa, in partnership with Reinvantage, has announced the Grand Finale of the first international “She’s Next” hackathon, scheduled to take place online on 3 October.

The hackathon is part of the global initiative She’s Next Empowered by Visa, aimed at supporting women entrepreneurs from Eastern and Southeastern Europe, Central Asia, and the Caucasus by helping them tackle pressing business challenges of the future. Over the past month, participants from 17 countries attended interactive webinars led by industry experts, honing key entrepreneurial skills.

Ten women-led teams reached the finale, developing their projects with the guidance of experienced mentors. At the Grand Finale, they will present their ideas to a professional jury. Winners will be selected in three categories with a total prize fund of US$20,000: the grand prize — US$10,000, the most innovative idea — US$5,000, and the best social impact — US$5,000.

The Grand Finale program includes team pitch presentations, panel discussions on women’s leadership and the role of female business communities, and open conversations about critical challenges faced by women entrepreneurs — access to financing, mental health, burnout prevention, and balancing career, family, and cultural expectations. A business quiz with prizes and an awards ceremony for the winners are also planned.
