Vadim Menkov becomes four-time champion of Asian Games

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Members of Uzbekistan kayak and canoe team won four more medals of the Asian Games.

Vadim Menkov won the gold medal in the 1000 meter race and became the four-time champion of the Asian Games.

In the paired competitions for 1000 meters, Shakhriyor Makhkamov and Shohrukhbek Aizamov won the bronze medal of the Asian Games.

At a distance of 1000 meters in the discipline of the canoe, Nurislom Tukhtasin ogli and Serik Mirbekov also took the third place.

At a distance of 500 meters in the discipline of the canoe Dilnoza Rakhmatova and Nilufar Zokirova won a silver medal of the games.

At the moment, Uzbekistan clinched 49 medals of the Asian Games: 13 gold, 18 silver and 18 bronze medals.
