“Uztransgaz” Secures US$300 Million Loan from UAE Bank for 18 Months

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The shareholder of the state joint-stock company “Uztransgaz” has approved a major transaction to secure a loan from the UAE’s Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank in the amount of US$300 million.

According to the bank, the loan term will be 18 months, with an option to extend for an additional six months.

The financing terms include an annual interest rate of 3.1% plus SOFR, along with fees totaling 1.35%.

The controlling stake of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank is owned by the investment company Mubadala.
