UzTest Signs Memorandum with Malaysian SIRIM QAS International

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — UzTest and the leading Malaysian conformity assessment organization SIRIM QAS International Sdn. Bhd have signed a memorandum of cooperation.

The document was signed during an official ceremony attended by Malaysia’s Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry Datuk Bahriya Khanim Mahd Tamil, the country’s Minister of Digitalization Gobind Singh Deo, and the Chairman of SIRIM QAS International, Dr. Hairul Anuar Mohamad Tawil.

During the negotiations, the parties discussed the exchange of experience in international standards and conformity assessment, improvement of laboratory testing and certification services, and opportunities for expanding SIRIM QAS International’s support for the export of Uzbek products to Malaysia and other South Asian markets.

The signed agreement establishes a solid practical foundation for the development of quality infrastructure, strengthens bilateral ties, and opens new prospects for promoting Uzbek products internationally.
