Uzpromstroybank issued 939,210 banking cards

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As of 1 January 2015, number of banking cards, issued by Uzpromstroybank, made up 939,215 units, the press service of the Uzbek bank said.

Number of installed POS-terminals exceeded 8,643 units, of which 7,893 were installed at trade points and 750 – at saving cash desks and mini-banks.

At the same time, the bank said it installed 33 ATMs and info-kiosks.

As of 1 January 2015, total volume of payments, carried out via POS-terminals, made up 150 billion soums, which grew by 66% year-on-year.
