“Uzmetkombinat” and Chinese Partners Outline Plans for Further Development

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Bahodir Abdullaev, Chairman of the Board and General Director of JSC “Uzmetkombinat,” held a working meeting with Su Changyun, Director of the Head Office of the China Metallurgical Association.

During the discussions, both sides exchanged views on key changes that have occurred in the global metallurgical industry in recent years, reviewed China’s practical experience in developing its metallurgical sector, and considered the prospects and priority areas for further development of the industry in Uzbekistan.

Particular attention was given to large-scale projects implemented at JSC “Uzmetkombinat” in cooperation with the Chinese company Jialong. The Uzbek side expressed its appreciation to the partners for their practical and technological support, which has contributed to the modernization of production and enhanced operational efficiency.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to further deepen their cooperation and outlined new stages of development for JSC “Uzmetkombinat,” aimed at strengthening its market position and expanding its industrial potential.
