UzLiDeP: What a business-oriented newspaper should look like?

It was attended by entrepreneurs and farmers, specialists in the printing industry, as well as employees of the socio-political newspaper “XXI asr”.

During the event, entrepreneurs and farmers openly expressed their views regarding the content of the party newspaper, coverage of topics, positive or unsatisfactory aspects of the newspaper’s activities.

Humoyunkhon Burkhonkhujaev, activist of UzLiDeP, head of LLC “Best Business Communications” in Tashkent:

- Today in our country many newspapers and magazines are published, covering the activities of business people and farmers. But I, as a member of UzLiDeP, an entrepreneur and ordinary reader, expect from our newspaper a deeper coverage of topics. Today, people can receive information through television and on the Internet. Therefore, the newspaper should produce more analytical articles in which the latest news will be widely disclosed. In addition, we entrepreneurs, in party events, raise and discuss many of the issues that should be covered in the newspaper, which in turn will attract the attention of the relevant departments and help to quickly solve them. Only in this way entrepreneurs will become more interested in the newspaper, and the publication will gain popularity.

During the meeting, participants suggested to increase publication of interesting topics for entrepreneurs, to establish public control over solving the problems of the electorate.

Asliddin Almardonov, head of the department of the socio-political newspaper “XXI asr”:

- The opinions of entrepreneurs will help change the work of our newspaper. In particular, the participants made suggestions to create a mobile version of the newspaper’s website, change the website’s design, and publish a newspaper in Russian language. We will certainly take into account the wishes of our readers and enrich the pages of the newspaper with new materials.
