UzLiDeP to focus on protection of property rights of proprietors

Further improvement of legislative norms and law execution practices directed at protecting property rights of proprietors, encouraging more efficient pre-trail and trail mechanisms of solving economic and other disputes is on focus of faction of UzLiDeP, Nasim Alimov, member of faction of UzLiDeP at Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, said.
He said that the party participated in development of many laws, directed at further reforming economic sphere in Uzbekistan, including laws “On guarantees of protection of private property and rights of proprietors”, “On privatizations”, “On introduction of changes and amendments to law “On bankruptcy”, and others. These laws helped to strengthen legal bases for protection of property of proprietors.
MP underlined that it is necessary further develop mechanism of pre-trail and trail medication. UzLiDeP developed a draft law “On international commercial arbitrage”, directed at improving mechanism of solving economic disputes, and a draft law “On mediation”, directed at introducing new mechanisms of solving disputes.
The party also offers to transfer right of imposing of penalty fees for delay of payment of taxes and other mandatory payments from tax bodies to the courts.
He said that further improving of legislation and law enforcement practice will improve protection of rights and interests of owners, entrepreneurs, farmers and business people and remain as one of priorities of the party.
