UzLiDeP supports young entrepreneurs

Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan (UzLiDeP) held a business seminar “Attracting youth to small and private entrepreneurship – foundation for future” in Samarkand city within its project “With diploma to business”.
The party recalled that 1,180 graduates of educational institutions participated in the project. Some 732 people received loans for 4.1 billion soums. Some 102 people from Samarkand region received loans for 400 million soums.
Sardor Lukmonov, head of department on work with youth of Samrkand regional Council of UzLiDeP, said that the district and city stages of the project were held in April. Some 166 graduates of colleges qualified to regional stage.
During the seminar, the participants, who reached the regional stage of the contest, familiarized with advanced experience of businesses, received information on doing business in Uzbekistan, taxation system, etc. The participants also received recommendations on improving their business plans.
About 50 graduates, who had the best business plans, received certificates to receive preferential loans from commercial banks of Uzbekistan.
