UzLiDeP implements projects to ensure sustainable development of economy of Uzbekistan via supporting small and private businesses.
One of such projects is Mulkdor Oila-2014. The seminar titled “Development of small business and family entrepreneurship” was held in Namangan region, which was organized by Namangan regional Council of UzLiDeP.
It is worth to mention that 17 participants of the project won in the regional final stage and their business-plans for 661.5 million soums were financed by commercial banks. In the result, about 10 new family businesses were created.
Over 500 farms and family businesses participated in the district stages, of them 60 were selected to regional stages.
During the seminar, the experts conducted lessons on doing business with use of modern educational technologies and interactive methods.
The participants were divided into groups in such direction as horticulture, poultry, storage and processing of agricultural products, through discussion consolidated their theoretical knowledge.
Head of Farm Ozoda Nur Fayz Baraka Murodhon Saidahmedov said that Mulkdor Oila-2014 project helped him to improve his knowledge on establishing family business. The project committee supported the project on increasing number of cattle and received loan for 82 million soums.
At the end of the seminar, the participants presented their business plans and the authors of the best projects received certificates to obtain preferential loans from commercial banks.
